Volunteer to deliver campaign materials
We aim to reach out to every voter in Hawthorne, to introduce Jack Lohr and the rest of the team: Mike Kassai for Mayor, Paul Duerr and Tara Temprano joining Jack for three at-large Council seats. We will listen to neighbors’ concerns, promising to follow up, and asking them to receive materials and perhaps put up a lawn sign for our team. If you can help, let us know your availability HERE.
Arrange for Jack to attend at a gathering in your home, organization or house of worship
Jack’s vision is for a campaign that’s more than just words. Real dialogue means deep listening as well as clear talking. And local government needs to do more than just respond to complaints, we will lead to enhance the social fabric of our community. The campaign is the beginning of a new way of civic engagement!

We are a team of local candidates. Our expenses are modest (no TV ads!), but to put up as many lawn signs as we envision is going to take more than the Passaic County Democratic Committee is likely to allot to this effort. Support this movement with your contribution in any amount from $1.00 to $5,500 per candidate. (And we can suggest additional ways to give!) We’re setting up an account with ActBlue, but meanwhile, you can send checks for “Hawthorne Dems ’25” to me at 319 Van Winkle Ave., Hawthorne, NJ 07506.
